Seit meiner Kindheit bin ich fasziniert von dem Schiff, seiner Geschichte und seiner tragischen Vergangenheit. Ich begann alle Erinnerungsstücke, Bücher, Bilder und Merchandising-Produkte zu sammeln, außerdem Musik und DVDs (Dokumentationen und Filme). Aufgrund meines Studiums lebte ich 2002/2003 ein Jahr lang in Irland und konnte dort mein Wissen weiter vertiefen. Wichtig war des Weiteren der Bes
uch diverser Ausstellungen, wie z.B. in Linz, Cherbourg, Cobh, London, Dublin, Las Vegas und die weltgrößte Titanic-Attraktion in Belfast. Im Jahr 2012 habe ich das kleinste Titanicmuseum der Welt in meiner damaligen Wohnung auf meiner Toilette eröffnet. Nach mehreren Übersiedlungen befindet sich das Museum nun in meinem Zuhause in Sankt Florian. Das Museum bietet einen individuellen Überblick zu den Bereichen Literatur, Dokumentation, Verfilmungen und Reportagen, Musik, Fotografie und Merchandising. Ein (selbstgebautes) maßstabgetreues Schiffsmodell ist ebenso ausgestellt, sowie allgemeine Fakten und Daten zum Schiff aufbereitet. Der Mythos Titanic und die unterschiedliche Betrachtungsweise des Themas werden im Rahmen einer Führung ebenfalls erörtert. Ein weiterer Fokus liegt im Österreich-Bezug zur Katastrophe sowie in der Berichterstattung österreichischer Printmedien zum Zeitpunkt der Tragödie. Kleine Original-Artefakte sind ebenfalls zu sehen. Ein Teil des Museums zeigt auch meinen persönlichen Zugang zum Thema. FAKTEN UND DATEN:

My name is Lisa Maria Atteneder-Schwödiauer, I live in Sankt Florian near Linz in Austria. Since my childhood I have been fascinated by the ship, its history and its tragic past. I started collecting all the memorabilia, books, pictures and merchandising products, as well as music and DVDs (documentaries and movies). Due to my studies, I lived in Ireland for a year in 2002/2003 and was able to deepen my knowledge there. It was also important to visit various exhibitions, e.g. in Linz, Cherbourg, Cobh, London, Dublin, Las Vegas and the world's largest Titanic attraction in Belfast. In 2012, I opened the world's smallest Titanic museum in my former apartment in my toilet. After several relocations, the museum is now located in my home in Sankt Florian. The museum offers an individual overview of literature, documentaries, film adaptations and reports, music, photography and merchandising. A (self-built) scale model of the ship is also on display, as well as general facts and data about the ship. The Titanic myth and the different ways of looking at the subject are also discussed as part of a guided tour. Another focus is on the Austrian connection to the disaster and the reporting of Austrian print media at the time of the tragedy. Small original artifacts are also on display.
