Apartment gallery in Linz, Austria since 2021

➡️ Streetart Edition 3 | Until Oct 31
📖 Jana & JS: Book Signing | Oct 17, 2 PM
🎨 Tage der offenen Ateliers | Oct 17 & 18 ABOUT US

Founded by the Franco-Austrian couple Stéphane Dumas and Raffaela Dumas-Janetschko in 2021, Galerie Dumas is an independent apartment gallery in Linz, Austria, created to offer a different and more immersive way of experiencing contemporary art. Rather than the traditional white cube, our exhibitions invite visitors to discover artworks in a warm, living environment where meaningful conversations and genuine connections naturally emerge. Over the past five years, we have collaborated with more than 50 emerging and internationally recognised artists, welcomed thousands of visitors, and built a growing community of collectors and contemporary art enthusiasts. Beyond Austria, our exhibitions have also been presented internationally, including projects in Paris, allowing us to connect artists with new audiences across borders. We also regularly participate in contemporary art fairs and cultural events, further expanding the visibility of the artists we represent. As part of our long term commitment to supporting artistic careers, we also manage the internationally collected contemporary artist Dino Pearl, accompanying the development of his career through exhibitions, institutional collaborations and collector relations. Our mission is to create lasting connections between artists, collectors and the public while making contemporary art more accessible through carefully curated exhibitions, unique artistic experiences and a welcoming atmosphere where everyone feels at home.

CRAVING WINGS | A special night in Vienna 🦅

What an unforgettable opening night for Dino Pearl solo exhibition CRAVING WINGS at Schlumberger ART FLOOR in Vienna!

An evening filled with art, emotion, music and beautiful encounters, celebrating Dino’s artistic journey and the powerful new works he has created for this exhibition.

A heartfelt thank you to Missy May Yury Revich and David Schieber for their wonderful musical performances, and to Lukas Rapp for both his musical performance and for guiding us through the evening. Special thanks also to curator Sandra Kratochwill for her insightful talk on Dino’s artistic practice and the ideas behind his work.

Our sincere thanks to Schlumberger Sekt especially Manuel Gebetshammer and Alexander Ludwig, for their trust, their support and for making this exhibition possible in such an extraordinary setting.

A very special thank you to Thomas Kahry for his unconditional support, dedication and belief in Dino and his artistic journey.

We were delighted to share this special evening with so many guests, art lovers and collectors. Thank you to everyone who joined us, and to ORF Seitenblicke for their presence and interest in Dino’s work.

And finally, to the friends and loved ones who have believed in Dino, encouraged him and stood by his side since the very beginning: your support means more than words can express.

📖 Jana & JS | BOOK SIGNING
🗓 Saturday, October 17, from 2 PM

When we opened Galerie Dumas in May 2021, Jana & JS were the very first artists to place their trust in us. Our gallery's journey began with their exhibition Memories, marking the beginning of a wonderful artistic collaboration and friendship.

Five years later, we are delighted to welcome them back to celebrate the first anniversary of their book, D’amour et d’art.

On Saturday, October 17, Jana & JS will be joining us in person for a special book signing. A wonderful opportunity to meet the artists, talk about their work and discover the stories behind their first monograph.

To mark this special occasion, Jana & JS have created two new exclusive prints, available together with the book as a special offer.

Their works are also featured in our current exhibition, Streetart Edition 3, on view until October 31.

We look forward to celebrating this special moment together with you ❤️

Taking care of artworks also happens behind the scenes.

Today we are preparing some of our next projects: Dino Pearl solo exhibition in Vienna, the Linzer Kunstsalon and the transport of one of Dino’s works for a museum project in Munich.

Working with more than 50 artists comes with an important responsibility: taking care of the artworks entrusted to us, at the gallery, during exhibitions and while travelling.

Since we opened Galerie Dumas in 2021, Christoph Kathan and EFM St. Georgen an der Gusen have been our trusted partners for this part of our work, helping us find the right insurance solutions for each project and being there when we need them.

And this responsibility doesn’t stop at the gallery. We always encourage our collectors to protect their own collections too. From the very first artwork, keeping photographs, invoices and certificates of authenticity together and having the right insurance in place is an important part of collecting art.

Collect art. Live with it. Take care of it.

Thank you to everyone who joined us on Saturday for the opening of Streetart Edition 3 and made this day so special.

Bringing together different generations, backgrounds and artistic voices is exactly what we want Galerie Dumas to be about: a place where people meet, discover art, exchange ideas and simply enjoy being together.

Our new exhibition is now officially open, bringing together more than 15 artists and over 150 artworks from Austria and around the world.

A huge thank you to all our artists, visitors, collectors, friends and supporters.

A special visit at Galerie Dumas ❤️

A big thank you to the Mayor of Linz, Dietmar Prammer for visiting us during the opening of Streetart Edition 3 and for taking the time to discover our gallery, our universe and our artists.

We were especially happy to present him with LINZ, an artwork by the artist duo Me Lata created as a tribute to our city.

It makes us very happy to know that this special piece will soon find its place in the Mayor’s office.

Thank you again for your visit and your time. We hope to see you again soon!
