What happens when three artists rewrite the images we think we know of Africa? 👀

In our new exhibition WANDALA – drama . dream . decolonized!, curator .wassermair discusses how Namafu Amutse, Mbaye Diop and Olivia Mary Nantongo challenge inherited narratives, confront colonial residues, and open a space for new forms of representation.

Their works navigate fluid identities, embodied resistance, and the refusal of exoticizing gazes—transforming the hybrid space of WANDALA into a site of agency and self-empowerment.

🤍 On view at OK Linz from 17 Oct 2025 to 22 Feb 2026.
