For the last time this summer, gartenquinÖ invites you to watch films in the garden of Kulturverein zur Schießhalle.
Weather permitting, we'll have a little BBQ together beforehand, bring your own fleischi or veggies.

Before FLEISCHWOCHEN kicks off, we'll warm up with a short surprise-sausage-film as an appetizer.

Fleischwochen – during this time on the farm of the Feichtmairs, slaughter and production takes place and at the same time the fight for survival is fought. A small family business that is almost impossible to finance. The 81-year-old farm owner Rosa Feichtmair is in an economic distress and can only keep the farm afloat with the financial and physical support of her daughter Margarete. Due to the enormous double burden, Margarete falls ill and questions her personal future as well as that of the business. There is great disagreement between the protagonists: the mother, who does not want to give up the business, and the daughter, who imagines her future differently. Joachim Iseni documents the conflict within a family environment, the adherence to times and structures long past, the burden of internal conflicts and the associated problems.

Even before filming began, director Olga Kosanović had already spent countless hours—and years—navigating bureaucratic procedures. Born in Austria to Serbian parents, she casts a critical eye on the absurdities of bureaucracy and, together with her interview partners, questions prevailing ideas of nationality and democracy.

👽 M.C. Monster* and qujOchÖ invite you to our Scary Slumber Party on Thursday, July 16th! Prepare for a bloody good night with a surprise horror movie. Doors are at 7:30 pm, the movie starts at 8:30.

We‘d love to see you join our party in your finest pyjamas! Everyone wearing PJs will be rewarded with a Bloody Mary on the house. 🍅

M.C. Monster* is a queer-feminist media club that dives deep into the realm of the fantastic genre, with a special focus on horror. In their regular meetings, they watch movies, read texts, offer lectures, and attend cinemas and events to discuss, dissect, and reflect, creating a spooky, safer space for all.

auto_timer is a Brazilian DJ, producer and experimental musician based in Berlin, exploring left-field Latin American bass and deconstructed club sounds. Their eclectic sets weave everything from Baile Funk, Bruxaria, Mandelão to Footwork, Cumbia, Anime soundtracks and broken rhythms into high-intensity, sweaty, body-driven journeys. auto_timer is a co-founder of the CHOKA collective (together with Bolivian DJ-artist Maque), a platform and traveling club night dedicated to amplifying sounds and practices from the Global South.

The artist name “Gawdesque” honours the power of the creative spirit - the god-esque in us - and serves as a personal affirmation of said spirit.
Gawdesque is a DJ, poet, organiser and founder of Black TLC. They celebrate their African heritage and its global branches through the music they play; West and South African genres, the African diaspora in the Americas and the Caribbean to create an eclectic blend of sounds to lift community spirit, lubricate the spinal joints, let the calories burn and ask for consent to make the back bend.
