🌎 Because we so often hear that you have to give everything for the jersey. But… what is a jersey really made of?
At first glance, a historic jersey tells us about a player, a match, an era. ⚽
But when we take a closer look, other stories begin to emerge: fibers, seams, weaves, materials, stains, wear, signs of use, and the different traces that the passage of time has left on the garment.
Each of these characteristics allows us to learn a little more about the jersey and understand what it has been through over the years.
👕 The number 16 jersey worn by Raúl Pérez, part of the collection of the Argentinos Juniors Museum, allows us to look at history from another perspective: not only through who wore it or which match it was worn in, but also through its own materiality.
🔬 In these images, we show you something that is not usually visible: the jersey from very, very close.
