🎨Highlights from Watercolour Workshop
💧 Watercolour Meets Nature

As part of "OUR PLANET, OUR FUTURE" – World Environment Day International Art Exhibition, artists enjoyed an inspiring Watercolour Masterclass led by internationally acclaimed master artist Abduljabbar Weiss.

Designed around the exhibition's environmental theme, the workshop encouraged participants to observe the beauty of nature through the expressive medium of watercolour. With every brushstroke, artists explored colour, light, texture, and emotion while reflecting on the importance of preserving our natural world.

More than a technical session, the workshop became a space for learning, creativity, and meaningful artistic exchange. Participants had the opportunity to gain valuable insights from the master artist, experiment with new techniques, and connect with fellow creatives in an atmosphere of inspiration and collaboration.

Workshops like these reinforce Art4you Gallery's vision of creating exhibitions that go beyond displaying art, offering educational experiences that nurture artistic growth while promoting awareness of global issues.

The final day of "OUR PLANET, OUR FUTURE" – World Environment Day International Art Exhibition concluded with an engaging Panel Discussion, where art, sustainability, and environmental responsibility came together through meaningful dialogue.

Our distinguished speakers: Farrington, Dr. Meriem Hammal, and Abeer Abdullah shared their expertise and perspectives on conservation, biodiversity, and the power of storytelling in inspiring environmental awareness. Their insightful discussions encouraged thoughtful conversations on how creativity, education, and collective action can contribute to a more sustainable future.

The session brought together artists, visitors, and environmental advocates in an atmosphere of learning, reflection, and collaboration, reinforcing the exhibition's vision that meaningful change begins with awareness and shared responsibility.

Art has the power to inspire change and together, we made that vision a reality

As "Our Planet, Our Future – World Environment Day International Art Exhibition" comes to a successful close, we look back with gratitude on an inspiring journey that brought together artists, visitors, collectors, and environmental advocates through the universal language of art.

Organized by Art4you Gallery at Art Smiley Art Gallery, and supported by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), the exhibition showcased diverse artistic perspectives that celebrated nature, raised awareness about environmental challenges, and inspired meaningful conversations about sustainability and our shared future.

Tahnks to our Sustainability Partner and Dr. Hons. Bhumika Maniyar, for your support and amazing customised planters.

Over the course of the exhibition, every artwork, every visitor, and every interaction became part of a collective commitment to protecting our planet. From Vision to Masterpiece - Watch creativity unfolds, one brushstroke at a time.

This behind-the-scenes glimpse captures the artistic journey of Guardians of the Blue, where talented artists transformed sustainable wooden turtle panels into powerful visual stories inspired by our oceans, marine life, and the urgent need for conservation.

Every line, every colour, and every detail tells a story of connection, between art and nature, creativity and responsibility, inspiration and action. What began as a simple wooden form slowly evolved into a meaningful artwork carrying messages of hope, resilience, and environmental awareness. Live art is a living conversation. It allows viewers to witness ideas taking shape, emotions being expressed, and important messages being brought to life in real time.

As the artists painted, they weren't just creating artworks, they were giving a voice to the ocean, reminding us that protecting our blue planet is a responsibility we all share.
