The Picasso Project

The Picasso Project ‘Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows.’ Picasso The Picasso Project takes art onto a different level.

Hi... I am Bernadett Shonibare, the Founder and Artistic Director of The Picasso Project; a high quality, super-fun and crazily creative Art and Craft Program for children. The project was established in 2009 and ever since I have been running my classes in and around Mirdif. Combined with storytelling, it is truly a holistic way of introducing children to the world of art, while it emphasizes th

e importance of literature and the love of books in our hi-tech world. It is a unique art experience that opens children’s eyes to the environment around them and increases their visual awareness. The Picasso Project's aim is that children from a very young age would explore their creative abilities; also they develop confidence in their abilities to express ideas imaginatively. I provide many different, interesting, even unusual materials for the children to work with and I encourage them to try new and exciting art and craft techniques. My program is fabulously creative, which reflects my energetic and fun-loving character. The children love being crazily creative while having heaps of fun!!!! Mirdif classes:
