When appreciation comes from legends, it becomes truly priceless. 🙏

Receiving words of admiration and encouragement for Indian art from Bhajan Samrat, Padma Shri awardee Anup Jalota sir is an honor beyond words.

His kind appreciation is not just a compliment, but a powerful motivation for all of us who are dedicated to preserving and promoting the beauty of Indian folk and tribal art.

DOT MANDALA ART
✨✨✨
Dot Mandala Art is a beautiful and meditative art form created using small dots arranged in circular, symmetrical patterns. The word Mandala comes from the ancient Indian language Sanskrit, meaning “circle” or “sacred center.” It represents harmony, balance, and the universe.
In Dot Mandala art, artists use tools like dotting sticks, brushes, or styluses to carefully place dots of different sizes and colors. These dots are arranged layer by layer to form intricate geometric patterns that radiate from the center outward. One of the most special qualities of Dot Mandala art is its calming and therapeutic nature. The repetitive process of placing dots helps improve concentration, patience, and mindfulness. Many people practice it as a form of meditation and stress relief.
Dot Mandala designs are often painted on canvas, stones, wood, plates, and home décor items. The vibrant colors and perfect symmetry make each piece visually striking and spiritually uplifting.
Overall, Dot Mandala art is not only a creative expression but also a symbol of balance, positivity, and inner peace.

Celebrating the Timeless Art of Gujarat

Gujarat is not only known for its vibrant culture and history but also for its extraordinary artistic heritage. Today, let us celebrate some of the most iconic art forms that reflect the soul of this beautiful state.

1) Mata ni Pachedi-A sacred textile art dedicated to the Mother Goddess, beautifully hand-painted on cloth and deeply rooted in devotion.

2) Pithora painting-A ritualistic tribal art of the Rathwa community, depicting deities, nature, and symbolic life narratives in vibrant colors.

3) Rogan art-A rare craft from Kutch, where intricate designs are created on fabric using thick, hand-applied oil-based colors.

4)Warli painting-A tribal art style known for its simple yet powerful depiction of daily life through geometric human figures.

Gujarat’s textile traditions are equally mesmerizing:

1) Bandhani (Bandhej)-A vibrant tie-dye technique symbolizing joy and celebration.
2) Patola-The royal double ikat silk weaving from Patan, once worn by kings and aristocrats.
3) Ajrakh–A traditional block-printing craft using natural dyes and intricate geometric patterns.

Each art form of Gujarat carries centuries of tradition, devotion, and craftsmanship. These are not just art styles — they are living heritage, stories woven in color and culture.

Let’s honor and preserve these treasures of Indian art.
