We’re bringing together three exceptional South African women artists in a new group exhibition showcasing how their ambitious practices, compelling visual languages, and deeply resonant subject matter have captured the attention of collectors, curators, and audiences.

Recently, Heidi Fourie, Nthabiseng Boledi Kekana and Olivia Pintér’s work have emerged with a standout presence across prestigious local and international art fairs including 1:54 Contemporary African Art Fair, New York and RMB Latitudes Art Fair, Johannesburg.

Some of William Kentridge’s earliest works are his prints of cats. If you are curious to see a few of these feline editions, then you can head over to our page on printed editions.

And for opera lovers, from the 14th of June, Kentridge will make his Glyndebourne Festival debut with a new staging of Monteverdi’s ‘L’Orfeo’ at the Glyndebourne Opera House in Sussex. There will be 13 performances with the orchestra and chorus of the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment.

In preparation for his Absa L'Atelier exhibition opening in June this year, South African contemporary artist, Lusanda Ndita recently collaborated with the David Krut Workshop’s Sbongiseni Khulu, deepening his engagement with printmaking.

Making extensive use of oral histories, photo albums and other domestic archival resources, Ndita’s work interrogates the archetypal family structure, and its many inferences to society, one’s manhood and historical ties. In doing so, his work further examines the validity of presence juxtaposed by absence and how regardless of family ties, male role models still exist.

Ndita’s practice deeply engages with domestic archives, particularly family photographs belonging to his mother and uncle. His work shows a fascination with the selective nature of family photo albums: what is preserved, what is omitted, and how meaning shifts when these images are removed from their private contexts and placed within the studio.

Visit David Krut Arts to see first-hand how photographs become material for reinterpretation rather than static records of the past for Ndita.

Last chance to join us at the RMB Latitudes Art Fair, Booth A8 to see a selection of works produced in collaboration with artists at the David Krut Workshop, including new works on paper by Maja Maljević.

Maja was born in Belgrade and began to consider herself an artist from as early as high school, when she decided to study within the design department in preparation for tertiary studies in the arts.

Maljević’s particular style begins with the “dirtying” of the canvas with a layer of bright paint that breaks the baldness of the white surface and opens up the space for Maljević’s intuitive jigsaw endeavour. Onto this ground, Maljević builds up surfaces with drips, blocks, bands and waves of colour, searching for harmony between colour and form, line and shape, expansive surface and small detail.

Through her own version of gestural abstraction, Maljević prevents the composition from becoming staid and self-indulgent, as she has put it, and allows action and conflict to occur between the different elements with which she is engaged.

Join us at the RMB Latitudes Art Fair, Booth A8 to see a selection of works produced in collaboration with artists at the David Krut Workshop, including new works on paper by contemporary South African artist Mary Sibande.

Mary Sibande works across a variety of mediums, from sculpture to photography and printmaking. Her work primarily explores how to reclaim the Black female body in post-colonial and post-apartheid South Africa.

Her work often portrays the artists alter-ego “Sophie”, a dreamer exploring worlds previously denied to her. Sophie is based upon Sibande herself, as well as the women in Sibande’s family, however, she is also a symbolic figure addressing many topics that remain relevant today, including blackness, femininity, labour and post-coloniality.

Visit our booth to see how Sibande’s new work marks a shift towards a new softness: an imagined space of leisure articulated through painterly marks and gestures created through the monotype process:

It’s time! Join us in Booth A8 over the weekend as we showcase a selection of works produced in collaboration with artists at the David Krut Workshop at the 2026 RMB Latitude Art Fair.

Amongst the featured artists in our booth is Stephen Langa, visual artist from Limpopo, working across a range of mediums including charcoal, watercolor, oil painting, and printmaking.

Langa’s work centres on Black interior life, exploring personal and communal narratives through the lens of emotion, memory, and everyday experience. Drawing influence from the tonal and emotional depth of Impressionism as well as the expressive possibilities of more contemporary movements, he uses his practice to explore how tenderness, beauty, and vulnerability persist in the face of erasure or distortion.

Through observation, research, and reflection, Langa’s work becomes a space for translating feeling into form. His portraits and domestic scenes are not just visual representations but emotional landscapes, grounded in lived experience and shaped by ongoing questions of identity, connection, and care.

Visit us at Booth A8 to see how Stephen Langa’s work becomes a quiet but insistent acts of recognition, rooted in the belief that the intimate and the ordinary deserve to be seen, held, and remembered:
