This mini texture piece has already been a few different colors in its short life, but I think I've finally settled on this gorgeous turquoise. It reminds me of rocks jutting out of the ocean 🌊 or as someone commented, a lake and ice 🧊

I love creating mini pieces of art, it's relaxing, there's no weird stress about messing up or wasting paint like when I'm working on larger canvases! 😅

Double-dipping must be the easiest fluid art technique out there, and it's oh so satisfying!

Fiona Art from Slovenia has been doing this technique for years and years, and it never gets old.

By gently squeezing two canvases together (or any substrate) and then slowly pulling them apart, the suction creates a mirror image of your design.

It's simple and fun, something you can do with your kids or your friends, and the results are super pretty.

Give it a try, I guarantee it will bring a smile to your face 😁

I hosted six lovely ladies for a birthday "sip & pour" fluid art workshop, and it was a blast!

They created such beautiful artwork - canvases, tiles and coasters - I'll share pics soon.

I've been a bit removed from social media lately... sometimes other areas of life take priority, seasons change, or we lose our rhythm.

I think it's important to embrace the ebbs and flows of life without resisting or forcing. And without condemning ourselves for not accomplishing more.

I made this cute textured mini for my bestie's birthday 💙🩵💛

This particular piece was inspired by Caroline Bond Art - her work is phenomenal.

I'm back in the studio, working with different textures, and feeling excited about two enormous commissions on the horizon... and when I say enormous, I'm not kidding 😳 watch this space!
