RULES by Paola Ibarra Llano is a large-scale collaborative installation created by visitors over time and is based on three simple rules- but it's up to participants how and if they choose to follow them.

Paola Ibarra is a Mexican artist and educator based in Mexico City. She develops participatory art projects, where she collaborates with communities to reflect on social issues, strengthen personal or group identity, practice teamwork skills and enhance the public spaces where she works.

Parastella by Christopher Schardt is made of approximately 14,000 LEDs in 48 spokes suspended above the viewer. The patterns generated from Hubble photographs, videos, and computer algorithms are accompanied by ambient electronic music by Ascendant courtesy of Synphaera.

The mesmerizing setting and comfortable space are intended for viewers to relax and contemplate.

Fifty mirror balls reflect light, filling the space with small reflections and patterns that fill the visitor's peripheral vision. Light Leaks by Kyle McDonald and Jonas Jongejan creates an environment that alternates between meditative calm and unexpected moments, blending a found object with cutting-edge computer vision.

The result? A unique, profound experience that challenges how we perceive light and space.

In the innovative installation Human Study #1, 3RNP by Patrick Tresset, the human becomes the subject, stepping into the role of a sitter for three robots that sketch them in real time in a scene reminiscent of a life drawing class.

The resulting artworks contribute to The Collection, a growing series of over 36,000 robotic drawings.

Initially developed by Tresset to overcome a creative block, the RNP can be seen as both a creative prosthetic and a behavioral self-portrait. While the robot’s drawing style is inspired by Tresset’s technique, it is not a mere copy—each piece reflects the robot’s unique "personality."

The Robotic Voice Activated Word Kicking Machine is a surreal exploration of language and our strange relationship with talking to machines. We talk to these devices, from customer service bots to “intelligent assistants,” as if they were our friends, ignoring the trail of data that we leave behind.

Neil Mendoza is a UK-born, US-based artist who blends sculpture, software, and engineering to animate objects and spaces. He employs humor and absurdity as tools to investigate how we mediate our interactions with each other and the natural world. His art often repurposes found objects, offering viewers a fresh perspective that challenges their preconceptions.

In the short film A Mind Sang by Vier Nev, three narratives merge into a dream-like exploration of perspective. Two boys draw each other. A cat obsesses over butterflies. A scientist gives birth. Shapes, lines, and shadows form a strange visual journey through narratives, while playing with perception, and seamlessly linking moments of birth and transformation.

ADA by Karina Smigla-Bobinski is an interactive installation inspired by Ada Lovelace, a pioneer of computer science. It is a helium-filled, membrane-like globe that is spiked with charcoals and floats freely.

Karina Smigla-Bobinski lives and works as an artist in Munich. Her artwork bridges mediums; she produces and collaborates on projects which span from kinetic sculptures, to interactive installations, to theatre performances. Her process involves different methods of making, creating outcomes which are extraordinarily unique and evolve based on visitor participation or the surrounding environment.

Impulse by Martin Messier is a suspended work of five juxtaposed parts. Each part is made up of two metal panels linked to each other by eight wires that light up in a computerized sound and light program.

In this project, Martin Messier proposes a poetic analogy with a technological twist to the functioning of the brain, in the form of the circulation of energy rendered visible by the paths of light traveling between one panel and the other.

To Do by Illegal Art uses 6,040 neon pink and electric yellow post-it notes to spell out the words To Do. Participants are invited to write out their ideas, chronicling their lists and contributing their views.

The installation becomes symbolic of our collective consciousness, offering insights into our societal to do list. The goal is to create participatory public art that inspires self-reflection, thought, and connection. Each piece encourages participation by making it simple.
