Cable TV History Northwest A special project of Seattle's Museum of History & Industry (MOHAI) The roots of the Cable TV industry can be traced to the late 1940s in the Pacific Northwest.

In its early decades, Cable TV owed much of its growth and development nationwide to a number of Northwest innovators in business, marketing and engineering.
