Bickenbach è stato l’autore di molti model sheet di Hanna & Barbera. Prendeva i concept di Ed Benedict e li trasformava nelle versioni finali per gli animatori. Si devono a lui molti dei modelli di base dei primi anni dello studio HB, da Braccobaldo ai Flintstones
