Bard and the artist, talking> here is a message about the role of government in promoting sustainability and equity that is more emotive:
Politicians and voters,
We have a moral obligation to create a more sustainable and equitable future for all.
Our planet is facing a climate crisis, and we need to take action now to protect it. We also need to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to live a sustainable life, regardless of their income or background.
Governments have a critical role to play in this. They can set ambitious environmental goals and policies, invest in renewable energy and other clean technologies, regulate businesses to ensure they are operating in a sustainable way, and provide financial assistance to low-income households to help them make sustainable choices.
Voters also have a role to play. We need to hold our governments accountable for taking action on sustainability and equity. We need to vote for candidates who are committed to these issues, and we need to stay involved after the election to make sure that our voices are heard.
Together, we can create a better future for our planet and our people
