☀️Limestone Woodland Art Gallery - A new name for a new era... Derived from Tadcaster’s connection to limestone. During Roman times, Tadcaster was known as ‘Calcaria’ - meaning Limestone. Tadcaster has long been renowned for its high quality limestone, which has been used to build and maintain York Minster for many centuries...
With the weather improving and lockdown rules easing soon it won’t be long before the Woodland Art gallery can open its doors once again.. hope to see you very soon! ☀️🎨🌳🌲

☀️Pontiac Firebird 🔥🦅 Retirement home for ace car bonnets welcomes a new resident... this Pontiac Firebird looks to have had a particularly hard life... It’s Screaming Eagle (aka The Screaming Chicken) is now home to roost in the trees at Little Land (next to the campfire, appropriately 😁). It’s one of 5700 Indy 500 Pace Car models made from 1980 onwards🌳🚘🔥🦅☀️

🌳Woodland Wellness☀️ Anyone in the Tadcaster area who feels they could benefit from some outdoor relaxation - you’re welcome to visit Little Land tomorrow March 20th between 10am and 3pm. 🌳☺️ The intention is to provide an opportunity for people to relax and rejuvenate a little during these testing times. Take a stroll around the woodland, sit and bask in the sunshine ☀️(bring a flask☕️) and enjoy some fresh air 😑🌲
At this moment in time, Little Land is not about art sales or exhibits, I’d just like to give others a chance to find some physical and mental stillness in the midst of the current situation 😑☀️

- Please observe 1.5m social distancing guidelines.

- Dogs on a lead welcome.

- Welcome to visit between 10am and 3pm.

- Bring your own loo roll and hand sanitizer 😉

New💛gates for 2020 and beyond... For various reasons I was unable to open the woodland art gallery very much at all during 2019. Looking ahead my intention is to return bigger and better for next year and beyond✊🏼🌳. In the meantime I’d like to express gratitude to everyone who has supported me and the gallery during the last 2 and a half years; family, friends, fellow artists, every art buyer, every visitor to Little Land, every post share, every like, every compliment, even every criticism (not too many of those thankfully 😊)... an enormous THANK YOU!🙏🏻☀️ I look forward to opening Little Land again in 2020, with loads of my own original paintings, as well as those of visiting Artists, plus a few more permanent exhibits. Have a great hibernation 🐻😁, see you next springtime 🍃
