Tomorrow is the last day to see Nastaran Shahbazi’s “Open Studio” in the Marais!

We are open Saturday from 10am - 5pm at 43 Rue Des Tournelles, Paris 🫶

“Dans cette nouvelle série, la peintre d’origine persane basée à Paris s’intéresse à la fête, période de réjouissance collective et parenthèse à l’intérieur de l’existence sociale où, explique-t-elle, « l’optimisme donne naissance à la liberté ». Elle s’inspire de certains chefs d’œuvre du XIXe siècle (Manet, Degas, Renoir, Matisse ou Toulouse-Lautrec) tout en y ajoutant des motifs modernes et personnels. L’artiste n’a pas pu se rendre à New York pour Wild Roses, son premier « solo show » aux États-Unis, qui s’est déroulée dans notre galerie de Bowery l’été dernier. Nous venons donc à elle pour organiser cette exposition au cœur du Marais.”

It’s the 150th anniversary of Impressionism in Paris and we are coming out for Art Basel to present Paris-based artist Nastaran Shahbazi in the heart of le Marais. Come see her paintings and drawings that blend history and memory into something very contemporary and international.

Opening Wednesday October 16th from 6-8pm at 43 Rue des Tournelles.
