“Meaning of Life”

Once upon a time, in a realm filled with magic and wonder, there lived a young faerie named Eden. Unlike the other faeries, who possessed unique powers and talents, Eden felt lost and unsure of her purpose. She would often wander through the enchanted forests, seeking answers to the ultimate question: What is the meaning of life?

One day, as Eden sat beneath the shade of a majestic oak tree, a gentle breeze whispered a secret in her ear. "To find your gift is to find the meaning of life, and to give it away is the purpose," the breeze murmured, carrying with it a sense of wisdom.

Eager to uncover the truth, Eden embarked on a journey across the mystical lands, seeking guidance from wise creatures and ancient spirits. She met the wise old owl who advised her, "Look within yourself, dear faerie. Seek the depths of your heart and uncover the gift that lies dormant within."

With newfound determination, Eden closed her eyes and delved deep into her soul. It was there that she discovered her gift—a voice that could enchant even the most hardened hearts, bringing solace and joy to those who listened. Her melodious voice resonated with the essence of the faerie realm, echoing through the enchanted woods.

Excited by her discovery, Eden returned to her faerie kin and shared her gift with them. She sang enchanting melodies, her voice weaving intricate patterns in the air. The faeries gathered around her, captivated by the beauty and power of her gift. Eden's voice brought them comfort, healing their sorrows and awakening their own dormant talents.

As word spread of Eden's gift, creatures from far and wide sought her melodies. The animals of the forest, the nymphs of the rivers, and even the ancient dragons came to hear her sing. Eden's gift was not just her own—it was a gift to be shared with all.

With each song, Eden realized that the true purpose of life was to give. By sharing her gift, she not only brought happiness to others but also found fulfillment within herself. Through her voice, she connected with the essence of the world and touched the lives of those around her.

As time passed, Eden's gift continued to grow and evolve. Her melodies became a beacon of hope and inspiration, reminding all who heard them of the beauty and magic that resided within each soul. She taught others to seek their own gifts, encouraging them to embrace their uniqueness and share their light with the world.

And so, the faerie named Eden discovered that the meaning of life was not found in the pursuit of personal gain or fame. Instead, it lay within the act of discovering one's gift and selflessly sharing it with others. In her voice, Eden found her purpose, and in giving it away, she found true happiness and a sense of belonging that resonated throughout the faerie realm and beyond.

WEREWOLF BY NIGHT #4 - COVER PAINTING. 1999-2000.

I wanted to revisit this cover about 30 years later and turn it into a full-color painting. I only did one of this image. It didn't come out too bad.
