You may not have heard the name Hugh Mercer before, but he was an integral part of changing the outcome of our country. He was a surgeon by 20 years old, traveled 100 miles injured through the forest during the 7 Years War, and aided his friend George Washington in the Continental Army. He is a Hero of History! Bonus: his direct desendent was General George S. Patton!
