★ Life in the RKKA. A set of personal hygiene for a soldier of the Red Army. According to the regulations of the second half of the 1930s, the equipment of each fighter included a set of special accessories for personal hygiene. The set included three boxes, consisting of two halves: square for tooth powder, rectangular for soap and a case for a toothbrush. All of them were made of celluloid and were of various colors. On the front side of the boxes was a five-pointed star. Accessories fit into a special cloth bag designed for them and fit into a soldier's backpack or knapsack. The soldiers also had cotton waffle towels, hair combs, mirrors. The men had a shaving kit. Быт в РККА. Набор личной гигиены бойца Красной Армии. По уставу второй половины 1930-х годов в снаряжении каждого бойца входил набор специальных принадлежностей для личной гигиены. Набор включал в себя три коробочки, состоящих из двух половинок: квадратную под зубной порошок, прямоугольную под мыло и футляр для зубной щётки. Все они изготовлялись из целлулоида и были разнообразной окраски. На лицевой стороне коробочек была пятиконечная звезда. Принадлежности укладывались в специальный, предназначенный для них матерчатый мешочек и укладывались в солдатский рюкзак, либо ранец. Также у солдат были хлопчатобумажные полотенца «вафельные», расчёски для волос, зеркальца.
