Hampsted has my heart, the moment I explored this hidden gem, all I wanted was to sit here in a nice sunny day and sketch. Which is exactly what I did and organised an event through where I met amazing group of people and fell in love with the vibe.

The caves of Cappadocia ! These caves were formed because of soft erosion of lava and and ash from Mount Erciyes, mount Hasan and Mount Gulu. Because if it’s soft sediment like nature, it was easy to carve out the tuff rocks manually and thus was used as shelters in prehistoric times. I tried to capture a small part of my journey in this frame. Hope you all enjoy it.

While exploring the trails within Hooke park, we followed the sound of a stream which lead us to this tiny wooden bridge. We could listen to the birds chirping, thin strips of sunlight penetrating through the woods and the sound of raindrops falling through the bright blue sky. The experience was indeed wholesome and a perfect get away from London.

Every morning I wake up to these beautiful bouquets of flowers. Some of the flowers are dropping and some upright as if they were harvested yesterday.

The joy of getting to explore unique landforms of this world! West bay was one such experience where I was in awestruck by these beautiful horizontal sandstone belts. Standing in front of the eroded cliff one can observe how time has sculpted the landscape of this world.

Journey to Hooke park. I was awestruck looking at the landscape while travelling in train from London to Crewkerne. In a short journey of two hours, I quickly sketched one of the views which caught my attention.

There is something about boulders which always fascinated me. The texture, crevices, form and especially their relation with the surrounding context. This image was captured by my friend when he visited Maldives. The moment if I saw the picture, it visualised it as a sketch and had to give it a try.

Coming from a land like India where saw dense foliages throughout the year ! And then coming to UK during winters ! These two experiences were right opposite and it took me some time to soak in the winter landscapes of London. Here I tried to capture a small glimpse of these beautiful tree trunks in its glory. Welcome to the land which modifies into beautiful landscapes all across the year.

When I got down from the tube station and walked across the streets of Hampstead. I was in awe of how beautiful this place is. I streets meandered through the terrain exposing us to churches, beautiful gardens and vintage houses.

One such church we came across while going to Hill garden and Pergola stuck into my mind which I had to sketch. Hope you all enjoy it.
