📍How does the Art space in Gqerbeha compare to the rest of South Africa?

Some factors that could be considered when making a comparison of the art space in Gqeberha to the rest of South Africa include:

• Size and diversity of the artistic community:
Compared to other regions of South Africa, the size and diversity of the artistic community in Gqeberha can influence the availability and variety of art resources and opportunities.

• Investment in the arts: The level of investment in the arts by local government and private organizations can significantly impact the quality and variety of art spaces and resources available.

• Cultural heritage: The cultural heritage of each region can influence the type and style of art that is produced and promoted.

• Access to resources: Access to resources, such as funding, materials, and technical support, can impact the development of the artistic community and the quality of the art produced.

The Art Space in Gqeberha, like in other regions of South Africa, has its own unique strengths and challenges. Promoting and supporting the arts in Gqeberha makes it possible to enhance the cultural richness and creativity of the region and contribute to its overall development.

💡Have you heard of the term Pan Africanism before, but not been quite sure what it means?

Pan Africanism is a political ideology based on the belief that all African people share a common history, and that the best way forward to their collective success is through unity.

The objective of Pan Africanism is to grow a future generation of Africans that are more aware of themselves alongside their history.

The global world has a lot of influence but with the teachings of Pan Africanism, one should be able to filter through these influences and determine for themselves which is good for them and if they are in a position where their choice affects the other.

Our goal as an Empire, is to promote unity through diversity. We stand for world peace and believe in leaders that are responsible for their citizens before themselves. Everyone has a role to play in ensuring that Pan Africanism’s teachings continue between each generation.
