VIR Gallery powstało na początku 2020 roku z inicjatywy studentów Mediów Interaktywnych i Widowisk UAM jako reakcja na ograniczenie działalności kulturalnej z powodu pandemii. Studenci zaprogramowali przestrzeń wirtualną, w której wystawili swoje prace multimedialne przedstawiające perspektywy na nową „codzienność”. Rozbudowywała przestrzenie wirtualne i oferowała w nich koncerty na żywo rozmaityc
h gatunków - od muzyki eksperymentalnej po postpunk. Obecnie organizuje intermedialne livestreamy koncertów i performensów wzbogacone o efekty wizualne. Tworzy tym samym “wideoklipy na żywo” w autorskim VIRowym stylu, które livestreamuje z Klubu Projekt LAB. VIR Gallery to ekipa przyjaciół ze studiów, oferująca inkluzywną, otwartą, alternatywną i współczesną platformę dla artystów i twórców. Jej przestrzeń wirtualną jak i fizyczną przepełnia obraz, dźwięk, koncerty, wernisaże, sztuka, SZTUKA, s z t u k a, sztu-ka.

VIR Gallery was established at the beginning of 2020 on the initiative of students of Interactive Media and Performances of Adam Mickiewicz University as a reaction to the limitation of cultural activity due to the pandemic. Students programmed a virtual space where they exhibited their multimedia works presenting perspectives on the new "everyday life". The gallery grew with monthly exhibitions. It expanded the virtual spaces and offered live concerts of various genres - from experimental music to post-punk. Currently, it's organizing intermedia livestreams of concerts and performances enriched with visual effects. Thus, it creates "live music videos" in its original VIR style, which are livestreamed from the Projekt LAB Club. VIR Gallery is a team of friends from college, offering an inclusive, open, alternative and modern platform for artists and creators. Its virtual and physical space is filled with image, sound, concerts, vernissages, art, ART, a r t, a-r-t.
