Ohio EDSEL Club Meetup – Sat, Nov 16, in Cincinnati, Ohio!

WHAT: The Ohio EDSEL Club is having an informal meetup in the Cincinnati area. Driving an Edsel is not required! All Edsel friends welcome!

Meet at the American Sign Museum at 10:00 am.

Address: 1330 Monmouth Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45225

This is a fantastic museum and is regarded as the “largest and most diverse public sign museum in the country.” Also houses a working neon shop on site where you can watch craftsmen create neon signs.

Self-guided tours on our own at 10:00 am. A guided tour begins at noon if you want to stay for that.

Admission: Seniors (65+) = $15.00; Adults = $20.00; Military/First Responders, Students/Youth = $10; Children

ILLINOIS- Steve and Barb Whitney’s Grandson Ryan drove their 1958 EDSEL PACER to Prom this weekend! It’s the fourth time the car has been used as a Prom night ride!

Great to see the next generation of EDSEL Enthusiasts at the wheel!

ATTENTION EDSEL OWNERS IN WESTERN PA AND EASTERN OHIO!

The EOC and IEC are looking to establish a joint chapter of both clubs for the Western PA/Eastern Ohio region. You need not be a member of either national club to join the local chapter. We are having our first meeting at the Iron Bridge Inn, 438 Perry Hwy, Mercer PA on April 21st, 2024 at noon.

We will be holding elections, establishing bylaws, and most importantly picking a name! Please consider coming as I believe this will be a very strong chapter! You don't want to miss an opportunity to hang out with local Edsel folks! All Edsels in all conditions are welcome!

LAS VEGAS, NV - That’s a wrap.

The Iconic TROPICANA HOTEL closed today!

Entire property will be leveled in 2025.

In the EDSEL world, the TROPICANA is forever linked from the iconic photo shoot done in Fall of 1957 of a 1958 Citation Convertible with the late Actress Kitty Dolan.

Dolan is part of the ELVIS story—- she was “the other girl” before he joined the Army. (See below)

Fast forward to modern times, the SAME EDSEL Citation Convertible from the famed Tropicana photo shoot was resurrected from the desert by the late Glenn Leuders of Arizona!

A multiple alarm fire broke out at Hack’s Furniture Store - Engine Companies 2 and 10 of the Milwaukee Fire Department responded.

Look what’s front and center: a 1958 Edsel Ranger Fire Chief car! The Department there purchased three of these- one still exists - wonder if this the same car?
