Very busy in the studio yesterday and happy with the end result. Will place foliage to soften where the paintings join . Have been busy making bases to fit several paintings so I can vary my backgrounds... wont be long and the bears will be photographed and looking for new homes.

Although I've not posted in a while I have been very busy. I've gone back to making mohair bears and lots of plans are in progress with them... including painting a back drop and base as a back drop for taking photos.... Still lots to do but they are coming along well.

This year I wont be doing Open Studios in July as having a break . im still available for commisions. It wont be long and I will be in the studio painting again and having fun with all the different things we do. All the things we do in the studio are still for sale and can be purchesd anytime. We hope to have an open day in the summer . I have also gone back to making mohair teddy bears so watch out for new creations coming soon. dont forget we are always happy for you to come round and just chat as we know lots of people just want someone to to arty stuff to ! so get in touch if thats you.

AS I got a highly commended in the competition I am allowed to use this logo to promote my self and display on web sites etc etc.

Feeling pretty chuffed with myself. Although I didn't make the 70 for the patchlings art competition so won't be in the final exhibition sadly. I did get a HIGHLY COMMENDED for my Cambridge painting of the ice cream seller. This means it will go into the online exhibition 😀😀😀 they only pick about 50 for this looking back on past exhibitions so I am pretty proud of the fact one of my paintings has been chosen, especially as this is my first big competition!
