Hi, it’s Stan! I’m here to give some tips and tricks to make your holidays more sustainable this season.🦖🎄

🎁When giving gifts, remember- reduce, reuse, recycle! Humans are projected to spend over a billion dollars on gift wrapping this year—most of which can’t be recycled. I’ll be using newspapers to wrap my gifts for my friends in the museum!

🎄Don’t forget, you can recycle your Christmas tree for free in Waco! I hope you’ll head to Heritage Square on January 7th from 10-2 PM and have your tree turned into mulch for your yard.

🍾Once it’s time to ring in the new year, I hope you’ll keep it GLASSY. Instead of using single-use plastics, I'll use glass or aluminum.

While International Museum Day was yesterday, every day can be Museum Day for locals! Waco residents can check out a free museum pass from the Waco Public Library to visit our local attractions. Do you have a library card?
