My life, in particular, has been filled with countless, tiring ups and downs. I felt like I was in an endless roller coaster of obstacles. As we mature from being children into adults, we will continue to face countless hurdles that only get bigger and more consequential. I would do anything to go back in time when I thought learning division was complicated as untying a series of knots. To when our obstacles we faced were insignificant and foolish. Thankfully, life isn’t a game where we can only have one chance.

Enriching and preserving our identity as a Filipino will always be a good thing to show our patriotic love and being nationalist. Before, I am bored when Historical facts was the topic but it changed since I read the historical yet fictional novel story in Wattpad entitled I love You Since 1892. From that novel, I learned how to value and love Philippine history and everything about it. One of the things that I got attracted was the baro’t saya and barong tagalog that was worn by the Pilipina and Pilipino before. It represents being “mahinhin” and “maginoo” of our ancestors which changed when 21st century generation came. This novel inspired me to do this coffee painting and also, this novel made me realize that I love every simple, little thing that has sentimental value like antique things.
