Creating artwork still feels magical to me. Especially experimenting with solar plate etching! I drew a little owl on glass, placed it on the plate, exposed it to sunlight, and that little yellow plate was inked up to print the image in the middle. So cool! I ❤️ printmaking:).

So grateful for the epic summer travels! Three music festivals (perk of being a musician’s spouse: I ❤️ you Gabriel Beavers), an art opening and talk, five national parks, and visits with family and friends. Feeling inspired by all the beautiful landscape in the country. Stay tuned for new works brewing:)

What a night! Opening reception for my exhibition “Fair” was a blast! So fun seeing old friends and meeting new ones! Thank you to everyone at BRG for making a wonderful place for artists to share their work and build a community. Also a big thank you to my husband Gabriel Beavers who sent flowers since he couldn’t be there❤️ And to my family and friends for all their encouragement and support. Especially Marissa Fugate for helping me carve out some additional studio time! It takes a village and I’m so grateful!

Also congratulations to Ann Boudreau and Marcus McAllister .mcallister for their exhibitions and beautiful work! 👏👏👏
