Earlier this week, I had the pleasure of having a go at stone carving at Art in the Marches with and a group of very nice people. Quite pleased with my initial efforts. Hopefully I'll be able to continue this in the near future.

My first attempts at wood turning, with thanks to my new buddy Brian, who let me have a go on his lathe and give me necessary pointers.
The larger of the two is freshly felled birch, the other is some plum, that has been sitting in my shed for a couple of years. Really happy with the results.

Something a bit different from me. Not really done a lot of abstract. Was on a trip to my homeland last September and came across at the Harbour Galleries in St Ives, which was the inspiration for this. A2 Bristol board, rotring fine line. I call it Blue Horizon.
