A mix of new and old paintings this mid-month, as some area galleries begin to re-open, such as New Zone Gallery where I've 5 new works inspired by Earth's wild wonders (plus a sixth in the window), and am also part of a collaborative triptych on imprisonment and freedom that's showing there June through July.
At times issues become so vital art cannot be silent, for to do so would be complicit in deadly atrocities. So here, on this virtual Gallery, among the three new artworks, are two where art will not be silenced: "Know Justice, Know Peace - No Justice, No Peace!!", both a painting, its poster, and the sketch and poster these grew from by the same name. Another new painting: the "Chi-Energy of Trees" is also in this virtual home gallery show, along with a few other works featured this two month period too...

Beltane, May Day, and First Friday all coincide this beautiful wet spring day! So, honoring the resilient beauty that is Spring, and the convergence of all these in the peak time (we may hope) of this challenging pandemic, Riverwind Gallery's May virtual art show opens with a mix of 3 recent paintings (including two new ones), and a batch of artworks celebrating Spring, Love, Beltane, our inherent connection with living Earth, and the wonder that be life!:

In addition to the art posted on this page, April's virtual gallery show features a collaboration in pottery, with Sylvia Rodrigo Riverwind's unique carved "Mountains" pot painted by Asante, the pot's varied sculptural topography shown here in a series of rotating pictures.
