Shown here is Eagle Scout candidate Jake Ferry of Redlands Troop 11 of the Boy Scouts of America beginning his required Eagle Scout project. Jake and a couple others are preparing the collection's M109A2 155mm Self-Propelled Howitzer for a fresh coat of paint.

This historical piece is displayed at the Headquarters, 40th Infantry Division, Joint Forces Training Base, Los Alamitos.
