1961 Borealis ...

I’m taking images of the 1961 yearbook now - the oldest one I have. My set up is natural light, a towel (to prevent sliding) under an angled back stand, a huge clip (to hold back multiple pages), a heavy tape measure (to hold back a wayward page or two), and some fun music in the background. I sit on the arm of the recliner, rest my elbow on the tea cart (so I don’t vibrate), centering the page as well as possible before pushing the shutter button.

This page is brand new, in the creation stage. It'll be for Borealis yearbook pages up to and including 1980 - for the enjoyment of students, staff and teachers who attended the Lynn Lake Schools before most of the "old timers" left (and for their children and grandchildren.)

Let me know if you can help by scanning or taking photos of pre 1971 Borealis yearbooks that you have in your possession. Invite your FB friends - - IF -- they attended Lynn Lake School either as a student or teacher or if their parent did and the parent is now deceased or unable to ask for themselves.
(fair enough?)

If you were a student in 1980 or later, please consider creating a separate page where folks can enter their yearbooks, just like this one. Volunteers?

If the name of your yearbook was BOREALIS and it's OLDER than 1970 let's start there.
