Former Mayor Marilyn Swope’s attendance at the Mayor’s Institute on City Design; Midwest, help in St. Louis in 1993, initiated interest in investigating ways in which artistic projects might stimulate the area. ective members are on the 4th Thursday each month at 6 pm at the gallery. In November, the meeting is on the 3rd Thursday and in December, a holiday party will be scheduled. Our Mission Statement
The mission of the Zanesville Appalachian Arts Project (ZAAP) is to unite artists and crafts persons and connect them to the community. ZAAP is a not-for-profit organization of artists and art advocates interested in cultivating and supporting the artists and the arts of Southeastern Ohio by offering the opportunity to meet, network, exhibit, and participate in the aesthetic development of their neighborhoods.
