I love LOVE LOVE, repurposing things and this huge wooden clock worked out perfectly as an art project 18th birthday gift for my son. He had taken a beautiful photo inside his antique 1951 Plymouth Cranbrook behind his steering wheel. It seemed like a perfect image for the round clock.

I wanted to share a project I just delivered today. I was given a photo of a collage of fireman objects on this wall decor piece and they wanted me to do something similar l, but was wondering if I could do something that had a clock in it. So to Marketpkace I went and found the perfect piece. (The last photo is what I was given for reference.) They really liked it and I always like a challenge especially if it makes the customer happy. ❤️

From vacation memories to large-scale artwork—this is the part of my work that I love most.

I absolutely love creating commissioned work!

One of my projects was especially exciting (and a fun challenge): the turtle painting. The clients shared a photo of a painting that they saw on vacation and they asked me to paint my version of it and do whatever I wanted on a 3’x4’ canvas. That was the fun part! (See ORIGINAL and MY VERSIONs on the attached images.) The other two paintings were recreated from vacation photos. The client asked me to recreate them@onto 3’x4’ canvases. Translating photos of moments that they experienced into something bold, detailed and lasting; is incredibly rewarding.

Every commission tells a story, and I’m honored to help capture it through paint.

Commissioned work doesn’t always mean that I get to create projects from scratch. Sometimes I’m asked to spruce up, update or change existing pieces to bring new life into pieces that may have faded or just need a bit of “pop”. These three short videos are on the walls of The Front Porch Tea Room in Hallam, PA. They were so much fun to revamp because I was told to do whatever I wanted to do. Loved that! The Front Porch Tea Room is very cozy and quaint and I encourage you to call and make reservations and experience their full menu of a myriad of teas, salad, scones, soup, sandwiches and their delicious desserts! It’s truly lovely!
