Last chance to take home work made at our group art nights and inspired by our local creative community!

We'll be open 6 to 9 PM on First Friday 9/4 for the final day of Art Night group show along with a sale of studio supplies, furniture, plants, and other odds and ends.

It's time for Paper Tiger Studio to begin packing up for the next chapter as we move on from a storefront and gallery space to focus on our studio practice.

I'm revisiting some of the places in the Yorktowne Hotel that inspired the artwork in Room With a Boo. Here's the hotel lobby and bar (look at that tiled floor!), the revolving door at the entrance, and the carpeted staircase.

Back from Oregon feeling inspired and excited for some upcoming events at Paper Tiger Studio!

We're hosting a Fringe Festival music and art session Thursday 8/20 from 7 - 8:30 PM ($5), open hours to see the Art Night Group Show on Saturday 8/22 and Sunday 8/23 from 1 - 4 PM, and the York msprint's anniversary party on Saturday 8/22 from 6:30 to 9 PM. Come hear some music, make art / buy art, and celebrate local diy print media with us.

More art for sale at our First Friday opening on 8/7 from 6 to 9 PM! The Art Night Group Show is an exhibition of work for sale by York artists who create together. You'll find paintings, drawings, collage, sculpture, printmaking, embroidery and more, made during our group art nights at Paper Tiger Studio and inspired by our local creative community.

Paper Tiger Studio is a printmaking studio and gathering place with vintage letterpress equipment, workshops, and events designed to make art accessible to everyone. Linocut printing demos are happening all night. Come meet the artists and celebrate what we've created together.

Here's a sneak peek at some of the art for sale in our Art Night Group show opening on First Friday 8/7 from 6 to 9 PM! You'll find paintings, drawings, printmaking, collage, embroidery, and more (maybe sculpture!?), all made during our group art nights at Paper Tiger Studio and/or inspired by our local creative community.

Open hours this weekend!

Ren will be in the studio on Sunday, July 12th from 9:30 AM–12:30 PM. Take home some new prints before or after checking out The Glass Turtle Studio's Second Sunday on King outdoor market. Stop by the parking lot at East King & Queen St (across from the Bond) for sourdough and other treats from 9 AM to 1 PM.

We're also excited to celebrate Diane Podolsky's solo show opening at the Baltimore Public Library on Saturday, July 11th.

We'll be open for First Friday this week from 6–9 PM! You'll find specially priced letterpress prints by Josh, a new watercolor parrot portrait by Ren, and the results of a fun leaf printing collaboration with Diane Podolsky. We'll also have at least one press inked up for a printing demo.
