WCMHA is a collaboration of the county and area historical societies and museums of 10 counties in West Central Minnesota. The counties included are Big Stone, Chippewa, Kandiyohi, Lac Qui Parle, Lincoln, Lyon, Redwood, Renville, Swift and Yellow Medicine. The purpose of this collaboration is to promote and tell the history of West Central Minnesota.

Know someone who should be nominated?

Below is a list of all the people who have been inducted into the West Central Baseball Hall of Fame. Do you see someone who needs to be on this list? We are looking for nominations for the Class of 2026.

The HOF covers a 45-mile radius of Willmar which includes communities such as Glenwood, Montevideo, Redwood Falls and Dassel-Cokato. In order to be considered for the West Central MN Baseball Hall of Fame, nominees must fall within the 45-mile radius of Willmar and be featured in one of the following categories: Professional, Amateur, and Community Involvement. The Kandiyohi County Historical Society partnered with the Willmar Stingers to create the West Central MN Baseball Hall of Fame in 2014.

There has been a time change for the cemetery walk. It will be on the same day, September 27, but will run from 9:30AM-11:30AM. Please help spread the word.

If there is bad weather, the cemetery walk performances will be done at the KCHS Community Room at 10am. Please listen to radio and social media that day to see if weather affects this event.
