A quick announcement.
A lot has changed in the last month. The completion of the remodel has been delayed. Access to the building has been lost. A stay at home order has been issued.
Through all of this struggle, my passion for the arts has not diminished. I am, however, going to be pro-active, in order to keep everything realistic.
I have already pushed Ashley G. Garner's Æsthesia: Opening Reception to August. I am pushing back Laser Art Photography by Lewie Wilkinson: Opening Reception to June. I cancelled the projection mapping throwdown and I'm delaying the Immersed in Art show until further notice.
Sunset Shows, being a group event, are also getting completely thrown for a loop. I have decided I am going to refund everyone's tickets for the year, until we have a better idea of what the new calendar will be. I am closing eventbrite from accepting new ticket orders. When society gets back to normal, I will create a new calendar for the shows. Don't worry, I still want to give everyone a date to play, it just might involve pushing many of the dates back to 2021, as I only do one sunset show per month, and I do not have the money to continuously advertise events, when they may get cancelled. I am, by no means, saying Sunset Shows are cancelled, they are just delayed for now until further notice.
I am also in process of converting HUE Gallery Ward, LLC to a Non-Profit Organization during this down time. I am looking for assistance in getting a lot of questions answered about this, so if you know anyone who is an expert in this, please forward them my information. My email is [email protected].
Thank you for everyone understanding that the art world is in a fluid state right now. Any support you can provide during this time, is greatly appreciated. HUE Gallery is my only remaining source of income and it's doors are closed right now until further notice. I still have artwork for sale and can still make custom commission pieces. Just e-mail me at [email protected] with any inquiries you might have.
Forever yours in the arts,
Sean Christopher Ward
