Happy Mothers Day!
HANDMADE CORN SHUCK DOLLS THAT ARE ALL NAMED AND NUMBERED. LOOK IN THE ALBUMS TO SEE WHAT I CREATE OUT OF STRING, CORNHUSKS, DYE ,GLUE AND CORNSILK.
Born in the mountains of western North Carolina I learned the craft of corn shuck doll making in girl scouts at age 12. Over the years I played at my creations, selling a few in my Red Barn Gift Shop and Garden Center. In 2010 I began wholesale sales to galleries and museum shops.. In 2013 I decided to expand and create more elaborate and detailed dolls to retail . My work covers over 300 years of fashions and all kinds of themes and occupations . All dolls are now named and numbered and are one of a kind . Member of the Southern Highlands Craft Guild.
Happy Mothers Day!
