New painting titled 'Personas" finished for the Sulman Prize. The concept centres around the idea that we all hide our true selves out in the world so we can fit into society and we play parts or roles in life. We don't start out this way, we learn to do this in order to be accepted.

Just finished my painting for the upcoming Archibald competition. Working title is "Strength in unity". The amazing Mich-Elle Myers agreed to be my inspiration for this piece. She is an amazing woman who has been fighting for women's rights, workers rights and domestic violence leave for women in Australia. A powerful, strongl person indeed ✊♀️

Caught the Alphonse Mucha exhibition yesterday at the Art Gallery of New South Wales

His art is very decorative and reminiscent of Japanese prints and stained glass windows.
