Another great postcard from Pike. The message on the back is dated 2/20/1912, and the message (as best as I can read it) says: "Frank, I will put out some cotton this year. 5 or 6 acres I rented ground for the cotton. The rest is 1/4 of cotton and seed. Seed is 25 cents a (?) and 3 are in 100 lbs. People winter their cattle on cotton seed as a grain feed here. I will rent some ground for corn so we will have a large part of the place for pasture. I am liking it here better than I did. We have a good and well improved place for this country. I like the climate the best of all. Some have made gardens and some have potatoes planted but I think it's too soon." (Original postcard is in black-and-white; I colorized it on palette.fm)
