We are excited to host 10 bon dance groups again this year at our 36th Annual Obon Celebration this coming Saturday, June 6, 2026. In the next couple of days, we will be posting "Meet the Groups" posts so you can learn a little more about each group. We all look forward to dancing with you this weekend!

The final mini bon dance workshops concluded on Saturday, May 30, 2026. Everyone looked great. Hope to see you next weekend at our 36th Annual Obon Celebration. Event starts at 4:00 p.m. and runs till 10:00 p.m. Food booth open at 3:30 p.m. Come early and shop the Gift Shop, Country Store, and out pop up crafts and plants tent. Our new bon dance towels are now available in our Gift Shop. The new towel features an image of Ewa Plantation's mill. Towels are $9 each plus tax. You can get one by visiting our gift shop Monday-Saturday between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. or at the 36th Annual Obon Celebration on June 6,2026.

Hawaii's Plantation Village would like to thank the members of the Haleiwa Bon Dance Club, the Oahu District Bon Dance Club and the Wahiawa Hongwanji Bon Dance Team for leading the mini bon dance workshops this past weekend.
