Help Tonya and the community cats by visiting the Gallery, her studio, donate to the cat rescue supply drive, purchase a raffle ticket to win an art print of “Rico”, view, and purchase art ~ proceeds at this event go directly to cat rescue efforts. On Friday Tonya will talk about her art, her cat rescue mission and she will have rescued kittens on site for you to meet also!

Why: A Call to Action for January 2023 Featured Resident Artist: Tonya Hopson

Please join Tonya for a meet and greet in the galley classroom Friday January 27th from 2-5pm.

Tonya Hopson is one of the featured resident artists of the month at the Artists Gallery this month. She has been involved in cat and kitten rescue groups in the Hampton Roads area for over 14 years. Her goal is to help improve the lives of displaced cats and kittens and reduce the feral cat populations by socializing outdoor born and unwanted kittens for adoption into forever homes. She continues educating people of the importance of spaying and neutering their pets. She works with many cat rescue groups and organizations and would love for you to attend a meet and greet at the Artists Gallery Friday January 27th from 2-5pm for more information.

Its’s Kitten season!!! So Please visit the gallery the rest of this month any time to donate to the cat and kitten rescue food and supply drive. A collection bin will be located on site.(See supply list at the bottom).
