Something about Lapis Lazuli stones always make me want to wrap them in gold. This lapis doesn't have any gold in the stone itself, but I still felt gold was right. I recently got a few larger pieces of Lapis that I may wrap in silver since gold isn't everyone's cup of tea.

Blue lace agate with silver wire. I have had this stone for a while and couldn't decide how to wrap it because I thought the stone itself was so beautiful. As usual, though the wrap took on a life of its own. Every plan I had didn't look right and as I shifted through different ideas, this was where it went and I am so happy with it!
