☀️ Vetri is excited to feature new prints by Theresa Wingert at Seattle Art Fair, July 17–20, at Booth B04.

Wingert’s work is rooted in printmaking, shaped by her background in photography and film. Her richly layered monotypes explore atmosphere, memory, and place, each one unfolding like a still frame from a larger story. With a focus on emotional nuance over precision, she creates moody, tactile compositions that invite a closer look.

From directing global campaigns to quietly building plates in the studio, Wingert brings a cinematic eye to every print. Her latest series blends intuition, narrative, and texture—drawing you into worlds both distant and familiar.

Stop by Booth B04 to experience her newest work in person.

☀️ Vetri is back next week at Seattle Art Fair, July 17–20. Come find us at Booth B04.

This year, we’re proud to debut new work by Andi Kovel, an artist whose dynamic approach continues to expand the language of contemporary glass.

Kovel’s sculptural work explores the expressive potential of the material, balancing bold, experimental form with a refined design sensibility. Her background in sculpture, textiles, and accessory design informs a practice rooted in material exploration and conceptual clarity.

After beginning her career at Urban Glass in Brooklyn, where she worked with artists such as Jeff Koons and Robert Rauschenberg, Kovel co-founded ESQUE Studio in 1999. Her studio has since become internationally recognized for work that blurs the boundaries between craft, design, and contemporary art.

We’re honored to present her latest collection and invite you to visit us at the fair.
See you next week!

JOIN US AT SEATTLE ART FAIR
July 17-20th

We’re thrilled to introduce Emmanuel (Manolo) Aguilera in “Convival”, his inaugural Vetri exhibition at the Seattle Art Fair. A glass artist originally from Veracruz, Mexico, and now based in Seattle, Manolo’s work explores themes of identity, transformation, and cultural memory through the lens of his Indigenous heritage.

Aguilera’s Mesoamerican sculptures channel the visual language of pre-Columbian architecture and mythology, honoring a cultural lineage that continues to shape Mexican identity and diasporic belonging. Alongside these are pieces from his Nopales Series, inspired by the sacred cactus depicted in Aztec codices and featured on the Mexican flag, a symbol of endurance, resilience, and deep-rooted strength.

Alongside works by Aguilera, Vetri will feature sculptural glass vessels by Andi Kovel, Cedric Mitchell’s Funky Forms, mixed-media paintings by Tina Randolph, and monotype prints by Theresa Wingert.

We hope you can visit us at booth and look forward to seeing you there!

Based in London, Amy Cushing draws inspiration from the expressive language of color. This is clearly reflected in her abstract, fluid, geometric work. Trained in Public Art at Chelsea School of Art, London, Cushing specializes in ceramics and glass, blending these mediums to create luminous kiln-formed glass pieces.

Inspired by the quest for vivid color in ceramic glazes, Cushing innovatively fused glass with clay, which yielded surprising results. This experimentation ultimately steered her towards the enchanting realm of kiln-formed glass, known for its luminosity and transformative potential. Focusing on color sequencing and balance, Cushing’s studio practice showcases her extensive knowledge in hand-crafting unique artwork, sculptures, and large-scale installations.

♥️Vetri is pleased to share that the Ship Canal pop-up has been extended! ✨

We’ve been enjoying the seabirds, the sunshine, and the rhythm of the working waterfront, so we’ve decided to stay a little longer.

This May, Vetri features a collection of George William Bell’s glowing abstract forms, alongside a dynamic range of work by many notable gallery artists. Jason Christian debuts two new Reticello Yo-Yos and baskets by Preston Singletary, including a large-scale piece that anchors the floor.

Also on view are sculptures by Andi Kovel, Justin Parker, Anne Clifton, Anne Wahlström, and a selection of Glasskibe from Backhaus Brown & Egevaerk.

A curated mix of functional and design-focused objects rounds out the space with goblets, carafes, and pitchers by Grace Whiteside, ceramics by Alison Reintjes, Dimple Bowls by Esque Studio, and Murrine Bowls by Joseph Enszo.

We look forward to welcoming you into the gallery to explore.
