Maya Eventov grew up in Leningrad in the former Soviet Union. St. Petersburg, as it is now known, is a city fabled for its beauty and culture. At a very young age her parents introduced her to the great masters. Countless hours were spent at the magnificent Hermitage Museum studying the works of great masters.
Eventov also took advantage of the fall of the Iron Curtain by travelling and exploring the lands of her dreams. Eventov continues to travel, finding inspiration for her works in the varied landscape around the world. Her work is represented in galleries throughout Canada, Great Britain, and the USA. Rikki Drotar was born in southern Idaho, but moved around frequently throughout her life. From each place she lived or visited, she would take in the rich beauty and diversity around her and try to create what she saw.
For as long as she can remember, she always had a pad of paper and pencil with her, drawing everything she could. Color always fascinated her, specifically the way artists could use color to create moods and life. This led her to discover that everything had an energy and flow, whether it was a human form or an inanimate object. Born in a small farming community in Illinois in 1959, P.T. Tierskyâs growing-up years were spent immersed in the elements of nature. After graduating from college in Iowa, a move to Minneapolis is where a love for artistic endeavors first emerged. As a hobby, the future artist started mixing artistic papers and paints with found objects.
After a successful business career, the artist is devoting full-time attention to the first love of mixing mediums to create bold and harmonious two- and three-dimensional constructions. Domine has been a full-time artist for over 35 years. She paints with a palette knife and her style is Impressionism, with her newest work reflecting an abstract interpretation. The view from her studio overlooking Hawkins Pond in Rhode Island has been a source of inspiration, as well as the woodsy landscapes of Northern New England.

On a whim, and with no background or training, Sparr decided to try his hand at painting. Like discovering a superpower, he found painting dramatically subdued the symptoms of his Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), providing a creative outlet and sense of control. Sparr has been crowned the âForrest Gumpâ of painting: Forrest did not stop running, Sparr has not stopped painting. This discovery changed the course of Jeffâs life.

An ethnically Russian artist who was born, raised, and educated in Central Asia, Larisa dates her passion for art from an early school age when she attended drawing classes in afterschool programs. She developed a fusion of art styles having grown up in a multi-cultural environment. Larisa is primarily an easel painter, with her style focused on fantasy themes, illustrative ideas, and fashion sketches in acrylics, ink pen, oil pastels, color pencils, fabrics, faux finishes, and often a combination of the above for different effects.

Kari grew up in Arizona where she attended Arizona State University, graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in printmaking. After college, she worked in the fine art field producing both commercial prints and artwork.
Previously a dancer and choreographer, she is drawn to objects in space and their movement. Each individual piece has its own level and style of motion. Some are lively, while others are quite still. She recalls her lithography professor who would often ask, ââwhat is the nature of the thing?'â
âI like paintings that you feel you could reach into. I try to create a depth to them. The expansive desert sky can seem as if it were a living organism. The hills that can feel as though they are moving, like bodies of earth. I like the surface of canvas and the way paint can be layered is such a contrast to printmaking. But I am still drawn to the simplicity of form that I learned there.â

Cui Ji was born on January 16th, 1966 in Wangchin, Jirin Providence in China. He was interested in painting ever since he was a kid, and he pursued his career as an artist by attending and graduating from Yenben University. His expertise is in painting abstracts, animals, florals, landscapes, and coastal views that include architectures. Most of his paintings are impressionistic, and his brushstrokes and colors provide viewers a sense of lively movement and intense color vibration. Many viewers are often impressed with Cui Jiâs dynamic compositions and mixture of colors and lines.
