As a native of Fitchburg, I am thrilled to see my former middle school (B. F. Brown) and high school (Fitchburg High) become an artist-preference housing complex! My earliest recollection of making art outside my home or school was during my recovery at Boston Children's Hospital (1975) and when my grandmother signed me up for an after-school workshop at the Fitchburg Art Museum! The same grandmother purchased my first Mac in 1991 while I was attending Massachusetts College of Art & Design. Exposure to the Visual Arts at any age fosters creativity and a deeper perspective on how we see the physical world around us. If you are an artist, patron of the Arts, or someone who desires to be a part of a creative environment, I encourage you to look into this opportunity!

Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Sun Coast are next door today with a car rally to benefit their youths! Many first responders amongst the supporters in Cosmos parking lot. A colorful showcase of industrial design at its finest with Christmas music in the background. Heartwarming.
