✈️🛠️ Ranger 2000: The Jet That Almost Was

Sleek, rare, and full of potential—the Ranger 2000 was Rockwell International’s bold entry in the 1990s to become the U.S. military’s next-generation jet trainer.

Developed for the Joint Primary Aircraft Training System (JPATS) competition, the Ranger 2000 featured a tandem cockpit layout and modern avionics. It was built to train the next wave of Air Force and Navy pilots with speed, efficiency, and cutting-edge tech.

Though the contract ultimately went to the Raytheon T-6 Texan II, only three Ranger 2000 prototypes were ever built, and TASM is proud to display one of them—a true rarity in aviation history.

🚨 Bonus for visitors: You're invited to climb into the cockpit and take a photo inside this one-of-a-kind aircraft!

🛩️✨ The Spartan Executive: Tulsa-Built Luxury in the Skies ✨🛩️

Before Gulfstreams and private jets, there was the Spartan Executive—a shining symbol of 1930s luxury and innovation, proudly designed and built right here in Tulsa by the Spartan Aircraft Company.

Crafted with sleek lines, polished aluminum, and plush interiors, the Spartan Executive was one of the most advanced and stylish business aircraft of its time. With its powerful radial engine, retractable landing gear, and all-metal construction, it offered executives speed, comfort, and prestige in the skies.

And here’s the best part: TASM is home to the prototype and the only Spartan Executive Model 12 ever built—a true one-of-a-kind piece of aviation history.

Come see this rare treasure up close and discover how Tulsa helped define aviation luxury.
