Continuity isn't just for books and movies. It applies to your room, too. What is continuity in interior decor exactly?

It refers to making different rooms have a similar flow, even if they're decorated and spaced out differently to tell a story in your home.

You can do this by using touches of the same color, repetitive design elements, and art by the same artist.

Even if the subject matter of the art isn't identical, just seeing art of the same style from the same artist can create ✨ continuity. ✨

A color is selected and used on everything from bedding, to furniture, to lampshades, and of course, the artwork. Variation comes in the form of textures and the use of different hues of the same color.
