The Haen Gallery An exceptional display of fine art located in the heart of downtown Asheville. Thus, the visitor to our gallery will perceive a certain sensibility.

With locations in Asheville & Brevard, North Carolina, our hours for each location:

ASHEVILLE – 52 BILTMORE AVENUE
Monday-Saturday: 11am-6pm
Sunday: 12-5pm

BREVARD – 210 SOUTH BROAD STREET:
Friday & Saturday: 11am-6pm
Sunday: 12-5pm

or call for an appointment at either location. Our intention is to provide excellence in quality and service as well as value to our clients. It is also important t

o us to create a space where the public can enjoy access to exceptional artwork — both regional and national — regardless of their ability to purchase. Our artists, beside their commitment to excellence, share a common bond: a keen appreciation for the natural world. There is a sense of place in the artwork that is appropriate to this wonderful area and any other area where a discerning spirit chooses to reside. Generally speaking, the Haen Gallery offers the work of established artists whose distinctive and unique style sets it apart from ordinary and imitative efforts. We have seen the prices that most of our artists command for their artwork rise significantly over the years, making their work quite attractive as investments. But most of all, we have had the pleasure of providing for our clients artwork of real value that will be enjoyed for many years and even generations.

Pristine beauty meets profound storytelling in this extraordinary clay-fired sculpture by Atlanta-based, Pat Magers!

Radiating a sense of hope, light, and presence, this new arrival makes an undeniable statement in any collection. No detail is left unnoticed, drawing the viewer in. A crisp, fresh-faced expression paired with beautifully soul-stirring pale ocean-blue eyes, a bold, intricately patterned suit wrapped elegantly around her neck and a delicate, blooming coral flower resting gently upon her cap. This piece demands more than just a standard display; it calls for a dedicated space that honors its intricate craftsmanship! Magers’ artistic practice bridges a wide variety of mediums—from oil and watercolor painting to collage and mixed media. However, her ceramic and bronze sculptures allow her to explore figurative beauty in a highly tactile way.

Come experience her work and many other wonderful creations by the over 40+ artists currently on display at The Haen Gallery located in the heart of downtown Asheville, NC! Open daily.

New varnished pigment print on canvas, Ever Whichaway, by Chris Foley!

With its vibrant golden oranges, deep, penetrating cool violets, and the illusion of incredible texture, this conceptual photograph speaks volumes.

“I am interested in presenting these images in the context of painting. For me, the river is crating millions of paintings every day and I want to try and apprehend this flow of imagery in a form that we commonly understand as art. And I want to share with the viewer the sense of connectedness that I feel when I’m in and around these places”
—Chris Foley

Foley now has a working studio at our second location in Brevard, NC. Open on Sundays and by appointment only. Discover more by visiting the link in our bio — or, chrisfoleyart.com

FEATURED ARTIST SPOTLIGHT :: Weaverville-based artist, former “science student” who turned to art, Carol Prusa!

Acrylic, silver point, graphite and LED extraordinaire. Carol Prusa creates symbolically charged work responding to liminal locations, using graphite pours and silverpoint drawing in a dance between the known and unknown to create erotically charged portals to new possibilities. Unknowing (between day and night) articulates emergent forms, offering insight into the mystery of our existence while embracing the magnitude of the universe with the lawlessness of imagination to distill the sacred.

A majority of this work is currently in progress — or being exhibited globally. DM us for detailed information on inventory here at the gallery and pieces available through the artist’s studio.

Prusa was recently awarded an artist residency at Yaddo - a prestigious and historic residency - from mid-May to mid-June. She will also have two large works, Cradle and Fountain, in the inaugural exhibition at SIMoA on Museum square, next to the science museum, in the technology and financial hub of Shenzhen, China. The Museum opens with her work in May and it will be on display until 2027.

Come experience the work of this masterful artist @ 52 Biltmore Avenue any day of the week!
