Visit the Museum's expansive outdoor campus encompassing 29 acres of property on Sugar Creek and Keuka Lake in the hamlet of Branchport, NY. Open to the public year-round, the Museum has a public use canoe and kayak launch, a Creekside Center barn, interpretive wetland trails and a boardwalk leading to a timberframe octagon pavilion on the shore of Keuka Lake. We are thrilled to welcome back Tom Nickels of RiverWind Kayak for another year of ACA Certified Kayak Instructor Training right here at SFLM! 🧡

Over 4 days of on and off-the-water training, you'll build the skills and confidence to become a certified kayak instructor, and inspire others to fall in love with the water the same way you did.

🚣 AFTERNOON — St. Ayles Skiff Community Rowing, 1:00 – 5:30 PM

Two paddles, one day, all on Keuka Lake!

This June 20th, we're on the water from morning to moonrise — and you're invited for both.

☀️ MORNING — Guided Paddle at Keuka Lake State Park
Our licensed guides will get you on the water and take you on a tour of Keuka Lake. Pick your time slot between 9:00 AM and 1:30 PM. Just $25.

🍓 EVENING — Strawberry Moon Paddle
Join us for a beautiful evening paddle on Keuka Lake under the glow of the Strawberry Moon. 6:00–9:00 PM. $37–$47.

Our guides will have you rowing as a team across Keuka Lake, taking in the scenery and experiencing the lake from a unique perspective all together.

The 10th Annual Paddle Keuka 5K is BACK — and this year we're going full 80s. Tease that hair, dig out the parachute pants, and dust off your sweatbands because this is about to be the most TOTALLY RAD race on Keuka Lake. 🎽🏄

Kayaks, canoes, and stand-up paddleboards are all welcome, singles AND tandems.

🎟 Need gear? No sweat! Grab a ticket WITH equipment and we'll hook you up with a boat, paddle, and life jacket.
🏆 Costume contest. Raffle prizes. Local business love.
