Del Ray Artisans invites youth ages 8-12 to Art Camp 2025 for a week of professional art instruction! Choose July 14-18 or July 21-25 (9am to 4pm daily). Details and registration at https://delrayartisans.org/event/art-camp-2025/

Students will have an immersive creative journey, including painting, sculpting, journaling, and STEAM-tastic activities that celebrate science and art. All art supplies are provided. Scholarship support available.

This month at the Del Ray Artisans gallery, explore a treasure trove of artwork capturing the beauty of the ocean, the maritime mind-set, and the ever-lasting nautical spirit during the Sing Me a Sea Shanty art exhibit though June 29.
Come to the opening reception on Friday, June 6 between 7-9pm to meet curators Tiara Safic-Martin and TJ Feeley and the artists.
Can’t wait for the reception? The gallery will be open later (9pm) for First Thursday in Del Ray (6/5) and will host a family-friendly activity where folks can create Pop Art featuring Washington Sports Teams (6:30-8pm).

Intro to Mindful Photography Workshop
Sunday, June 8, 1-4pm
Using a camera lens (any camera lens will do—including your smartphone), learn to notice and observe our surroundings from new perspectives. Through this workshop explore the fundamental concepts of mindfulness through a fun and creative medium! All levels of experience are welcome—including none! Instructor: Rainbow-Wolf Sabin. Ceramic Turtle Workshop (Adults & Youth ages 13+)
Saturday, June 7, 6-9pm
Students will use stoneware clay to hand-build a turtle by forming shapes from soft clay in different patterns and learn how to make limbs and head to complete their turtle.
